Abstract
As Sinatra 1.0 came out, we have a good alternative to rails(before is merb). I will introduce efforts of people around Sinatra community to eliminate gap of moving from Rails to Sinatra including my works.

Jiang Wu(呉江) is a Ruby developer in Shanghai, China. He has worked with Ruby for 3 years. In 2008, he open sourced a library of Chinese payment gateway, implemented in Active Merchant. From 2009, he is devoted to promote "off rails", such as Sinatra and Sequel, in China.
